Valtellina and Valchiavenna

Two fascinating valleys depart from Northern Como Lake: one is Valtellina, home to traditional dishes like “pizzoccheri” and “sciatt”, as well as bresaola, delicious apples, tasty cheeses and unforgettable wines. You ‘ll also find thermal spas and ski resorts, like Bormio and Livigno. In Valtellina signs of primitive eras are still visible in a park.
The other valley is Valchiavenna, renowned for its traditional products and food, trekking, climbing or cycling areas.
